What we do

MISSION STATEMENT

To generate lasting solutions that will improve outcomes for organizations

SERVICES

Successful Outcomes offers a range of facilitation services to help organizations to continually improve and to overcome obstacles and problems that are generating waste and that are slowing growth.

The target problems can be described as areas where the actual results are not meeting the client’s expectations and the financial impact ranges from $10,000 to multi-millions of dollars annually.

Successful Outcomes uses a Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving methodology to help organizations improve.  In Continuous Improvement, a new target state is set and a series of  steps is determined to take the organization towards that target.  A Problem Solving approach focuses on making a big impact where today’s outcomes are below expectations and there is no obvious, simple path to success.

Typical initiatives can be categorized as follows:

Process Improvement– human and financial resources are being wasted due to issues in and across functional groups such as manufacturing, service , logistics, sales, and customers

Projects – Current studies show that as high as 80-90% of all projects are delayed and do not meet their initial targets.  Systematically addressing an organizations issues around project delivery yields projects that are delivered faster and with more realistic deliverables.

Cost Savings Initiatives (CSI) – Initiatives are identified where costs can be reduced.  Targeting and implementing CSIs on an ongoing basis leads to continuous improvement.

DELIVERY

To work together a typical project goes through the following four stages

Initial Consultation– this is a free, no obligation meeting with organizational stakeholders to determine the current sTate and desired future states and key areas targeted for improvement.
Needs Assessment – once the initial direction is determined, we will begin working with the functional teams to understand the current situation at the ground level and understand organizational capabilities. This will allow us set out a path for the the working phase, where the roadblocks and countermeasures will be investigated and developed.
Facilitation phase – this is the main working phase where most of our energy will go. It will bring together representatives from the involved functional groups. In this phase, we will determine the key steps that are needed to get from the current state to the target state, and solve any problems that are keeping those steps from being implemented.
Followup -in this phase we track the action plan to ensure that the target action items are being implemented, to make adjustments to countermeasures as needed and constantly check that the results obtained match with the original targets. If the items are getting off track, adjustments are made to bring them back on track.
